I’ve been struggling with what to do with all my kids artwork (and feeling guilty if I just immediately chucked it in the trash.) My first thought was to create a giant metal wall that could not only display tons of artwork, but also be fun place to play with magnets (without scratching up our new fridge ).

After realizing how expensive it would be (it’s not like they just sell 5’x7′ sheets of metal at Lowe’s), how ridiculously big it would be to take it home (we don’t have a truck), and how heavy it would be on our walls, I decided to look for something different.

My next thought was magnetic paint, which I thought, since chalk paint is a cinch, magnetic paint must be easy too, right? Wrong. All of the reviews I read on line said that they had to put several coats and even so, only light magnets (like the little word magnets) would stick. Any thing heavier was a no go. And using magnets to hold papers? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

So, I was back on the hunt.

I took to Pinterest but every single idea I saw didn’t hold a whole lot of art work or looked incredibly time consuming to switch out (like framing artwork).

Until…I found art lines. It allows you to quickly install a metal line that holds up to 10 pieces of artwork. Plus, the pack comes with two art lines (for a total of 20 pieces of artwork!)

It’s super simple to pinch, clip and hang the art work and each hanger has a hook, allowing you to remove and switch around with ease (making it super simple to use 8 hangers one week or 12 the next, depending on the size of the artwork).

Not only that, but if you go onto Amazon and search for ideas for hanging kids art work, you’ll pay double the price (and usually for half the space).

Currently, we just have one art line hung in the kitchen (pictured on 3 different occasions to show the variety of artwork). I love this art line so much, I’m going to hang the other line somewhere else in our home so we can have even more art work displayed.

Seeing my kids artwork brings me so much joy. I love adding their color and warmth to our house.

If you’d like to grab one of these sets for yourself (highly recommend you consider it), here’s the Amazon link.
